Your photos are personal.
This page describes Ever’s website and the optional cloud sync in our native app preview.
Your account
When you sign in, Supabase processes your phone number, any linked email address, and authentication information. Twilio Verify processes your phone number and verification information to deliver sign-in text messages. Necessary session cookies keep you signed in. Vercel hosts this website and processes requests and operational logs.
Your library
The website does not access or upload your Apple Photos library. If you enable Ever Cloud on your Mac or iPhone, Ever sends photo dates, people names, labels, Selects, collection membership, and Apple Photos matching identifiers to your private account in Supabase. Each connected device downloads this organization and matches it to its local Apple Photos library. You can edit organization on either device. On-device photo analysis helps find subjects, text, and potential Selects while the iPhone app is open. Original images, thumbnails, face embeddings, and recognized text are not uploaded by organization sync. Organization is also cached on signed-in devices for offline browsing.
Website images
The illustrative travel photographs on our homepage are served by Unsplash. Loading them sends a request, including your IP address, to that image provider. They are not photos from your library.
Your choices
You can use the website without creating an account. In the native apps, you can export synced organization or delete your Ever account from account settings. Deletion removes the account and cloud organization; it does not delete originals in Apple Photos or organization saved locally on your devices. Turning sync off stops future uploads. Signing out hides that account’s cached organization; other devices may retain their offline cache until they next connect.
